Wales International cap awarded to Tottenham Hotspur's Terry Medwin in season 1960-61, the red velvet cap with gilt tassel and braiding, embroidered with the Welsh crest and 1960-61 RI.S.E.Sp., bears little wear This cap was awarded to Terry Medwin, the only Welsh player who played in each of the fixtures inscribed on the cap in season 1960-61, namely v Republic of Ireland in a international friendly; the British Home international matches v Scotland and England; and a World Cup qualifier v Spain. Terry Medwin was a member of the Tottenham Hotspur double-winning team in season 1960-61. The outside-right made a total of 30 appearances for Wales and scored six goals.
