Tranmere Rovers joint-issue programme for the League match v Ashington 25th December 1922 and the Reserves fixture v Middlewich in the Cheshire County League 26th December 1922, 12-page with blue cover, centre pages with team line-ups, it would appear the centre pages are a supplement or have been re-printed, other pages and outer are original, bears discolouration to cover border, wear to spine, staple removed Tranmere defeated Ashington 1-0 on the 25th December 1922. Ashington were original members of the third division north in 1921-22 but failed to get re-elected in 1928-29. They also hold the distinction of being the most northerly club to have played in the Football League.
