Ireland defeated England 2-1. Lots 1 to 11 Sir Frederick Wall Collection Sir Frederick Joseph Wall (1858-1944) became Secretary of the Football Association in 1895 and held the position until his retirement in 1934, at which point he took a Directorship at Arsenal FC until 1938. He was knighted in the 1930 New Year Honours.
