That’s a wrap! We've reached the end of the auction and we’re busy tying up final bids behind the scenes. Thanks for being part of it — we’ll be in touch soon.

England cap awarded for the very first official Amateur International fixture v France at Parc des Princes, Paris, 1st November 1906, the rose coloured cap embroidered with an English rose emblem and E v F 1906-7, bears minor wear to the emblem and interior The original recipient of this cap is unknown. England defeated France 15-0, England goal scorers Stanley Harris (7), Vivian Woodward (4), Sammy Day (2), J. Raine and P. Farnfield. The Reuter news agency report that England had won the match 16-0. In keeping with amateur Corinthian ideals, in fact Woodward deliberately missed a second half penalty with England so far ahead already.
