Blue and white striped Argentina No.23 home jersey, circa 1990, short-sleeved with country crest and sponsor logo, reverse numbered 23 This design was a stop-gap shirt was only worn by the Argentina senior national team in a handful of matches in the immediate build-up to Italia `90 between January and May. By the time Argentina played their opening match at the World Cup in June against Cameroon they were already in a different style of Adidas home shirt. Argentina had just moved back to Adidas at the start of 1990 after a decade with French company Le Coq Sportif.
