The winning trainer's trophy for the Hamilton Memorial Steeplechase at Kelso on 23rd February 1990, pewter modelled as a racehorse, raised upon a wooden plinth base, with engraved plaque HAMILTON MEMORIAL STEEPLECHASE 1990, 17 by 22 by 7cm. Stan Mellor trained Rubika to win this race for owner Trevor Hemmings. The race was a handicap for amateur riders and the winning jockey was Mr D Gray at odds 11-4.
