A salver commissioned to commemorate the achievement of Old Tay Bridge finishing runner-up in the Grand National at Aintree 27th March 1925, by Mappin & Webb of London in Prince's plate, pie crust border, raised upon three pad supports, centre engraved OLD TAY BRIDGE, MARCH 27, 1925, diameter 35.5cm, weight 1390gr., bears minor surface scratches Old Tay Bridge, ridden by Jack Anthony and trained by Frank Hartigan, finished runner-up to Double Chance in the 1925 Grand National.
