A fine collection of Royal Ascot Enclosure day badges, all named in ink by hand, a tradition that still endures to this day, examples comprising 1892 (Household Enclosure), 1914, 1919, 1920 to 1922, 1924, 1925 (x 2), 1928, 1930, 1932, 1935 (x 2), 1937, 1938, 1946, 1950 (x 2), 1952, 1963, 1971, 1973, 1975, 1977, then from the 1980s onwards good representation of almost every year until the 2010s and very often with multiples, the named badges including those of three prominent racehorse trainers M Channon, B A McMahon and P Mitchell; the collection also including two pre-war Grand Stand badges for 1927 & 1929, all contained in plastic sleeves in a ring binder file
