A table tennis bronze by the mid-20th century sculptor John Matthews A.R.C.A., the player's hand modelled after two times table tennis world champion Johnny Leach, raised upon a wooden base, this being a smaller version of two 45cm. high and heavy (approx. 17kg.) sculptures in the collection of the International Table Tennis Museum in Shanghai, height 18cm, base 11 by 11cm.
