Red Liverpool No.12 substitute’s jersey from the 1981-82 European Cup campaign, Umbro, short sleeved, with “Umbro” name overstitched with red thread. Horst Dassler convinced UEFA to restrict the appearance of the manufacturer's logos for the 1980-81 European Cup final between Liverpool and Real Madrid, Liverpool famously covering the Umbro logo with white tape. For the 1981-82 European campaign the Umbro double diamond logo remained on the shirt but the word "Umbro" was overstitched with red thread.
