Football League Division Three (South) championship medal awarded to Bill Inglis of Reading FC, season 1925-26, 9ct gold, fully inscribed obverse and reverse, weight 26gms., diameter 28mm., in original fitted case, slight nick to rim Reading finished with 57 points, one clear of Plymouth Argyle. Bill Inglis was born in Cramlington, Northumberland, 4th September 1899, and a product of the famous Wallsend Juniors club. The half-back/full-back was signed from Brentford and made 120 League appearances for Reading, before transferring to Exeter City.
