British Lions to New Zealand 1971, photographic contact sheets, comprising sixty original 2 1/4 by 2 1/4in. images spread across five 10 by 8in. contact sheets, mainly depicting the lions practicing on tour, published by the south pacific press photo services of Auckland, New Zealand, each in very good condition, (60) The 1971 tour was a great success, the Lions winning the Test series against the All Blacks. They are still the only Lions side to have won a Test series in New Zealand. The side was captained by John Dawes, coached by Carwyn James and managed by Doug Smith.
