Three ceramic ashtrays being souvenirs of the British Empire Exhibition at Wembley in 1924, two featuring the newly built Wembley Stadium, one by Arcadian, the other in lustre glazes by Crown Ducal; the third ashtray by Carlton, featuring a goalkeeper standing in a goal, bearing the crest of Hastings, and inscribed League Football First Played 1888, various sizes, the largest 17.5 by 14cm.; sold together with a fourth souvenir of the British Empire Exhibition in the form of a coloured glass panel featuring Wembley Stadium, mounted on a velvet backboard, 18cm. square (4)
