A Leicester Schools' F.A. badge awarded to the future professional footballer Eddie Clamp, enamelled white metal complete with original fitting, minor enamel loss to upper edge, still complete with Christies lot tag, diameter 25mm. Provenance: Christies June 1998 Lot 248 Eddie Clamp was born in the town of Coalville in Leicestershire in 1934, he later played for Wolves where he won two league championship titles and a FA Cup before joining Arsenal and later Stoke City. He also won four England International caps.
