Two 9ct gold Birmingham football medals awarded to W Pickering, the first for Birmingham County Football Association Junior Cup Winners 1924-25, obverse with Birmingham CFA crest, reverse engraved, the second for Birmingham & O Boys AFA, obverse with blue and red enamelled crest, reverse W Pickering, total weight 13gms. (2) W Pickering started his career in Birmingham and District football in 1924-25, it has not been possible to find individual details but the medals were won by W Pickering before he joined Sunderland in 1924.
