9ct gold & enamel Mayor of Coventry's Hospital Cup awarded to Fred McLachlan of Coventry City in 1924, inscribed with competition details, weight 10gms., in original case Frederick McLachlan was born at Kirkcudbright 21st August 1889. He played League football north and south of the border variously for Partick Thistle, Aberdeen, Coventry City, Grimsby Town, Bury and Halifax Town.
