9ct gold & enamel Renfrewshire FA County Cup medal won by the Scottish international James Stark of Morton FC in 1913-14, fully inscribed with competition details, with applied later strap bracket, the rim inscribed with address details of Mrs Stark, weight 16gms., diameter 30cm. Centre-half James Stark was capped twice for Scotland and also represented the SFL in two inter-league matches. When at Glasgow Rangers he won two Scottish League titles and a Scottish Cup. He then spent a season south of the border at Chelsea FC in 1907-08 before returning to Rangers and then to Morton FC with whom he won the medal being offered here.
