Silver trophy presented by the Football Association in connection with King George's Jubilee Trust in May 1935, hallmarked Denton & Down, Birmingham, 1934, modelled as a female torchbearer, a symbol of the Royal initiative, mounted on an onyx base set with a silver plaque inscribed PRESENTED BY THE FOOTBALL ASSOCIATION, FOR PERSONAL SERVICE IN CONNEXION [sic] WITH KING GEORGE'S JUBILEE TRUST, MAY 1935, height 15cm., damage to a front corner of the onyx plinth, otherwise good The King George's Jubilee Trust initiative included a series of specially arranged football matches.
