Pelé used these scissors in the ribbon-cutting ceremony at the grand opening of Atari's manufacturing facility in Taiwan in 1982. The scissors are housed in a red velvet case that features "Atari Taiwan Manufacturing GRAND OPENING, April 21, 1982" stamped in gold on the outside and the inside cover. The scissors are accompanied by a pair of vintage video game cartridges owned by Pelé including the 1988 Atari game "Pelé's Soccer," and the 1993 SEGA Genesis game "Pelé" made by Accolade Inc.
