A plaque presented to "Rei Pelé" [King Pelé], on September 29, 1974, from the Corinthians Sport Club of São Paulo, Brazil. On September 29, 1974, Corinthians defeated Santos FC, 1-0, in the Campeonato Paulista in Estádio do Pacaembu in São Paulo. This match was just a few days before Pelé retired from playing football for Santos FC, after 18 years with the club. The silver tone metal plaque features the tribute to Pelé "muito que honrou e engrandeceu o futebol do Brazil" [the most honoured and magnificent of Brazilian football] and enamel badges of the flag of Brazil and the Corinthians club logo.
