A group of seven framed and glazed Vanity Fair cricketers, including “A Tested Centurion”, “The Croucher”, “Ranji”, “Kent”, “A Big Hitter”, “Cricket”, “An Artful Bowler”, (7) (frame size 48 x 34cm) Provenance: The following lots belonged to comedy actor and lifelong cricket fan Bill Pertwee MBE, known to millions as Warden Hodges in the sitcom Dad’s Army, thence by family descent.
