Manchester United ephemera, comprising: a player’s 1938-39 season handbook originally issued to the goalkeeper Jack Breedon, only partially preserved, plus other items originally owned by Breedon including photographs, one signed by team-mate Hubert Redwood, and press cuttings some relating to the events at Munich; a cheque for £40,000 dated 26th July 1961 and payable to Arsenal FC for the signing of David Herd; three team-sheets issued by the Manchester Evening News to hospital patients listening to radio commentaries of the United matches v Luton Town, Everton and Blackpool in season 1956-57; a programme signed by Matt Busby (FA6 v Everton 12.3.83); and a programme for the Contact Theatre Company Manchester United Show performed at Old Trafford between 18th May and 9th June 1973; and a bound volume of Manchester United UEFA Champions League home programmes from the 1998-99 Treble Winning Season, red binding, gilt titling, very good condition
