The William Hill Golden Spurs Award presented to Pat Eddery as 'Best Flat Race Jockey' in 1975, in the form of a silver-plated model of a standing thoroughbred, mounted on a marble plinth set with plaque inscribed with presentation details, 17 by 15cm., good condition In 1975 Pat Eddery won the Derby on Grundy and then on the same horse won the King George VI and Queen Elizabeth Stakes beating Bustino, the race becoming known as 'The Race of the Century.' Pat was also crowned Champion Jockey for the second successive year.
