The winning jockey’s trophy presented to Pat Eddery for the victory on Grand Duke in the 1977 Hong Kong Derby at Happy Valley racecourse, In the form of a silver-plated and hand-painted model of a racehorse and jockey, mounted on a wooden plinth set with a plaque inscribed with race details, overall 22 by 22cm., in original WaiKee, Hong Kong, carrying case Grand Duke was owned by Mr Lee Pak Huen and trained by Chue Po Ming. The inscription would also suggest that this trophy was a presentation from the winning owner to Pat Eddery. It was Pat's second Hong Kong Derby win, having won on Breathing Exercise in 1975.
