Sir Peter O'Sullevan's BBC commentary card for the 1978 SGB Handicap Steeplechase at Ascot won by Grand Canyon ridden by Ron Barry, the printed sheet bearing hand coloured jockey colours, extensive annotations in pen, 31 by 18cm. The New Zealand-bred steeplechase Grand Canyon's finest moment was when wining the Colonial Cup, America's richest steeplechase, and the first overseas horse to do so. He was trained at Chichester by Derek Kent. He was owned in partnership by Mr D W Samuel and Michael Buckley.
