Wales, Northern Ireland and England International cap, 1956-57 the dark blue velvet cap with gilt tassel and braiding embroidered with Scottish Football crest and inscribed S v W, S v I, S v E, 1956-57 The above cap represented Tommy's 9th, 10th and 12th appearances for Scotland, in the match against Wales played 20th October 1956 at Ninian Park, the match ending in a 2-2 draw, the match against Northern Ireland played on 7th November 1956 at Hampden Park, Scotland won the match 1-0 and in the match against England played on 6th April 1957 at Wembley, England defeated Scotland 2-1 The above cap was awarded to Scotland, Hibernian League Championship winner, Liverpool goalkeeper Tommy Younger.
