John "Ned" Doig, a rare 9ct gold and enamel Sunderland Division 1 League Championship medal, 1892-93, the obverse inscribed 1892-3, LEAGUE CHAMPIONS SUNDERLAND FOOTBALL CLUB, the reverse inscribed J.E.DOIG, with ring suspension, with extension enamel loss 

The above medal was awarded to Ned Doig, Doig was a member of the 'The Team of All Talents' and spent 14 seasons with Wearsiders, making 457 appearance and winning four league championships medals
