A purple velvet schools Cricket Cap with gold braiding and tassel, embroidered crest with the year 1924, also embroidered on the peak and a manufacturer label for R.W Forsyth, Athletic Outfitters of Edinburgh and Glasgow sewn on the inside, there is evidence of colour fade and age related marking to the velvet and wear to the lining.
