Two 9ct gold Birmingham football medals awarded to W. Pickering, the first for Birmingham County Football Association Junior Cup Winners 1924-25, obverse with Birmingham CFA crest, reverse engraved and the second for Birmingham Y & Old Boys AFA, obverse with blue and red enamel and red crest, reverse engraved W. Pickering, both hallmarked and by Vaughan & Sons, total weight 14gms, (2)
W. Pickering started his career in Birmingham in 1924-25, and joined Sunderland in 1925, later playing for Bristol Rovers and Accrington Stanley.
