Cup 3rd Round match programme, 5th January 1957, with British Railways timetable, a small hand written note from Stanley at Hartlepools United along with an envelope addressed to George Follows which will have contained his Press Box match ticket, the back of the envelope Follows has scribbled the names Whelan, Berry, Taylor who were the 3 scorers in United’s 4-0 victory
George Follows was a journalist with the Daily Herald and in 13 months to nearly the day he will have lost his life at Munich’s Rheim Airport when the United team’s aeroplane crashed on the 6th February 1958
