Music Boy was a British-bred chestnut colt foaled in 1975 by Jukebox out of Veronique (Matador).

Music Boy would become the Cheveley Park Stud’s first Group winner (Gimcrack Stakes), trained by ‘Snowy’ Wainwright; and their first stallion, proving the Leading First-Season Sire in 1980. Music Boy is commemorated at the Stud Fram through a life-size bronze by the sculptor Jonathan Knight.
