This was the signed off design submitted to then Club Commercial Manager Andy Daykin prior to the 1997 Play off Final at Wembley Stadium, which took place on May 26th and was the first time the United team wore this creation by new Club brand Le Coq Sportif that saw a giant flag version out on the famous turf prior to kick off
