This shirt was received in person during Canon’s 50th anniversary celebration in London on April 28, 1988, at a formal gala event. Canon representatives at the event confirmed that the shirt had been worn by Sir Frank.
The shirt is in excellent condition and features all the original sponsor logos (Canon, Mobil 1, Denim, ICI, Honda) and a tag marked “FW”. The inner label reads “robin”, which is believed to refer to the shirt manufacturer.
