In 1904, Manchester City reached their first FA Cup final, Bolton playing in their 2nd. Over 100 special trains were organised and brought some 40,000 fans from the north west to join a crowd of over 60,000 and witnessed Manchester City defeating Bolton Wanderers 1-0 and record their first-ever major honour
