set on a wooden backboard/frame with a signed note from the racehorse trainer Henry Cecil on Warren Place headed stationery, reading THIS IS TO CERTIFY THAT THESE ARE THE ACTUAL PLATES WORN BY PRECOCIOUS  WHEN HE WON THE 1983 GIMCRACK STAKES AT YORK, signed in red ink and dated 31.8.83, 23 by 56cm; sold with a set of the Marquess of Tavistock's racing colours from Warren Place that were used in races for the horses Precocious, Pushy etc., by Horse Requisites, Newmarket, purple & white stripes, black velvet cap with gold tassel
