Neil Cawthorne (British, 1936-2022) oil painting of the racehorse Quinsigimond with George Duffield up,
signed, oil on canvas, 51 by 66cm., title plaque to gilt frame, overall 63 by 79cm.

Quinsigimond (foaled 1990) was trained at Newmarket by Sir Mark Prescott and won four races. As a broodmare she produced the black type filly Aunt Flo trained by Michael Bell.
