Red Clubs went into the Guineas as the Greenham winner but having finished unplaced was dropped back to sprint distances. The colt won the Betfred Sprint Cup and the Diadem Stakes at Ascot. As a two-year-old Red Clubs won the Coventry Stakes at the Royal Meeting. He later sired Sky Lantern, winner of the 1,000 Guineas and three other G1's.
