Ian Botham 1979, an original Duncan Fearnley cricket stump from the first Test match, England v India played at Edgbaston on 12th-16th July 1979, the spike inscribed in ink 1st Test v India Edgbaston 1979, 7 wickets in the match, the stump was taken as souvenir after the match by Botham having just taken five wickets to win the match for England

Ian Botham took seven wickets in the match 2-86 in India’s first innings and when they followed on 5-70 off 29 overs in the second. This was the Test when David Gower made 200no and England totalled 633-5 in their first innings. England won by an innings and 83 runs
