Charlotte Edwards CBE 2008 Ashes Test: framed match-worn shirt, used stump & toss coin

Charlotte Edwards CBE 2008 Ashes Test: framed match-worn shirt, used stump & toss coin

This outstanding framed display features a match-worn shirt from Charlotte Edwards during England’s 2008 Women’s Ashes triumph, accompanied by a match-used stump and the official coin toss coin from the fixture. The presentation is completed with striking imagery of Edwards in action, forming a comprehensive and visually compelling tribute to one of the defining moments in women’s Ashes history.

The shirt is signed by members of both the England and Australia squads, including Edwards herself, Lydia Greenway, Claire Taylor, Isa Guha, Ellyse Perry and Karen Rolton, adding strong collector appeal and historical significance.

Played at Bradman Oval, Bowral, the Test was the final and decisive match of a closely fought series. Standout performances included Isa Guha’s remarkable 9-wicket haul across the match, Charlotte Edwards’ commanding 94 in the first innings, and Lisa Sthalekar’s 98 in Australia’s second innings. The match also marked the Test debut of Ellyse Perry, adding further historical interest.

In a tense finale, Edwards herself struck the winning runs as England secured victory by 6 wickets, sealing the match and retaining the Ashes. A rare and highly significant cricketing artefact celebrating a defining England triumph and a landmark moment in the women’s game.

This exceptional piece of cricket memorabilia comes directly from the personal collection of Charlotte Edwards.

All profits go to directly to the Charlotte Edwards Foundation, helping advance women and girls' cricket at all levels.
