Curated in a themed and chronological order, labelled Box A through to Box E
Box A: containing official documentation on the preparation for the 1966 World Cup, marketing material such as a poster, pennants and World Cup Willie ephemera, pages relating to ball selection, the World Cup draw hosted in Kensington, ticket applications and other final preparations, complete tickets from every match hosted in London including a grade-1 ticket for the Final
Boxes B and C: relating to the group phase of the tournament; the opening ceremony, followed with the representing nations, starting with England in group one with autographed team sheets, rosettes, FDC’s, match tickets and passes, accompanied with printed press material
Box D: covering the knockout stage of the tournament, from the contentious Quarter-Final encounter between England and Argentina, to Portugal’s five goal comeback after going three nothing down to North Korea, the Semi-Finals and Eusebio’s last appearance in the tournament in the Third-Fourth Place Final
Box E: dedicated to the England v. West Germany World Cup Final, black and white photographs taking the viewer through the drama of the event, accompanied with press material, World Championships The Finals banquet menu, UK and international World Cup themed stamps, letters from Alf Ramsey; the Prime Minister office and GPO personnel etc. etc.
