Johan Cruyff orange and black No.14 Holland match issued long-sleeved shirt, 1974
Johan Cruyff orange and black No.14 Holland match issued long-sleeved shirt, 1974, Adidas, with crew-neck collar, the flock badge worn and wear to number, the shirt features the famous two stripes instead of the usual three Adidas stripes, because of the conflicting sponsorship deal, lacking trefoil logo on the chest, the Dutch team played the entire tournament in shirts without it
The shirt was gifted to a Dutch photographer the evening after the Group 3 match against Sweden played on 19th June 1974 in Dortmund, the match ending in a 0-0 draw.
The match will be remembered for the defining “Cruyff Turn” when he shaped to pass the ball down the line, but instead dragged it behind his standing foot and spun away, leaving Swedish defender Jan Olsson completely wrong-footed.
