As 2025 draws to a close, we wanted to take a moment to reflect on a defining year for BUDDS. It has been a year shaped by momentum, clear milestones, and the continued support of our clients, collectors, and partners.

This year marked an important new chapter for BUDDS with the launch of our rebrand. The refreshed identity reflected where the business is today and where it is heading.

Across 2025, BUDDS held over 32 auctions, making it another busy and productive year under the hammer. More than 10,000 lots were sold throughout the year.

Tim Murphy, CEO, reflected on the year, saying:

“It’s been a landmark year for BUDDS, with our rebrand playing a pivotal role in the continued growth of the business. It’s helped us better reflect who we are, where we’re going, and has been met with an overwhelmingly positive response from both our customers and business partners

In 2025, we hit record number of lots, auctions held, and overall hammer value, which is a real reflection of the momentum behind the business.

We continue to source exceptional, hard-to-find pieces, and our customers can buy with confidence knowing that every item is carefully vetted for authenticity and provenance, backed by our years of hands-on expertise.

Looking ahead, 2026 is set to be even bigger as we expand further across the UK and Europe, and into America and Asia.

I’d like to personally thank all our customers, collectors, and business partners for their continued support, and wish you a fantastic Christmas and a very happy New Year.”

David Convery, Head of Sporting Memorabilia added:

"As this record-breaking year comes to a close, we are delighted to see that the sporting memorabilia market is the most competitive it has ever been, some remarkable prices achieved this year, our global reach has expanded and we continue to grow the Budds brand with our exciting new sale categories and are delighted to collaborate with our growing partnerships."

He also highlighted a personal standout from the year:
“There has been many highlights this year, the World Record price for Henry Cooper’s Lonsdale Belt is certainly one but the Pat Jennings Auction is my 2025 standout sale of the year, with 100% of lots offered finding new homes, testifies he is still regarded as one of the all-time great goalkeepers”

Beyond auction results, BUDDS continued to grow its platform and audience. Our database now exceeds 50,000 registered users, reflecting sustained interest from collectors worldwide. Across social channels, content generated more than 8,000,000 views and over 7,000,000 impressions, extending the reach of our auctions and strengthening engagement with the brand.

We are grateful to everyone who contributed to another landmark year for BUDDS. Your continued support allows us to keep raising standards, broadening our reach, and building for the future.

See you next year.
