Memorabilia relating to the double-Grand National winning jockey Christopher Green, comprising his British Passport issued 9th April 1850 and signed by Green; and an 8-page pamphlet outlining his life and career titled ''In Memorium, Christopher Green, Died 26th February 1874, Aged 53 years'' Christopher (or 'Cris' as we was known by) Green rode the winner of the Grand National on two occasions. The first win was in 1850 on ''Abd-El-Kader'', while the second win came nine years later aboard ''Half Caste''. It is thought that the passport was issued so we could ride in steeplechases on the continent.
