A group of four rugby league medals won by Jack Grundy, all in their original case of issue, comprising: i) & ii) two silver-gilt & enamel Rugby League County Championship winner's medals for 1955-56 and 1956-57, both inscribed THE RUGBY LEAGUE COUNTY CHAMPIONSHIP, WINNERS, and then with the above seasons dates; iii) a silver-gilt & enamel medal inscribed LANCASHIRE COUNTY RUGBY LEAGUE, SENIOR CUP, WINNERS, 1954; & iv) a silver & enamel medal inscribed LANCASHIRE RUGBY LEAGUE COMBINATION, WINNERS 1948-49; sold together with a letter dated 24th April 1956 from Wilf Brown of the Lancashire County Committee on the occasion of him presenting the 1955-56 County Championship medal to Jack Grundy, in original envelope (5)
