A racing plate worn by ''Troy'' when winning the 200th Derby in 1979, later silvered and set on an onyx ashtray with silver plaque inscribed TROY, 200th DERBY, TO DENNIS, FROM THE TEAM; sold with a racecard signed by Troy's jockey Willie Carson; and a signed letter of authenticity from Mrs Monger confirming that her late husband Dennis Monger, an early producer of Outside Broadcasts at the BBC, had received the Troy shoe and the racecard as a retirement present from his colleague as this was his final Derby broadcast and that this was made possible with the help of Willie Carson (3)
