Three 9ct. gold medals awarded to Jimmy Stewart, i) Lanarkshire F.A., won at Motherwell in 1907-08 ii) Glasgow Junior F.A., runners-up, 1904-05 iii) Dumbarton Junior F.A., won by Dumbarton Union, 1902-03 sold together with a sheet of J.M. Stewart headed paper, a newspaper & a press cutting Jimmy Stewart started his professional career at Motherwell before joining Liverpool where he made 64 appearances, scoring 27 goals, up until the First World War. He finished his playing days at Hamilton Academicals. In Hamilton he set up his own sports injury clinic and then became a trainer at Blackpool in the 1930s, and later with the championship winning Portsmouth team of the late 1940s.
