A 9ct. gold & enamel Scottish F.A. Cup winner's medal won by Jock McDougall captain of Airdrieonians in 1923-24, this being the only occasion the club won a Scottish Cup, fully inscribed Airdrieonians defeated Hibernians 2-0. Jock McDougall (1901-1973) was born in Port Glasgow and holds the distinction of being the only captain to the lift the Scottish Cup for Airdrieonians. In 1929 he travelled south to play for Sunderland, before ending his career at Leeds.
