Scarce programme for Jimmy Greaves's first match in a Tottenham Hotspur jersey, an away reserves fixture at Home Park, Plymouth Argyle, 9th December 1961, green sheet typescript 4-pager Jimmy Greaves scored twice in the 4-1 win over Plymouth. The announcement that we was to play at Home Park drew a bumper crowd for a reserves fixture of 4,000, but it is estimated that only 1,000 programmes were printed for the match. Greaves then made his first team debut in the League match v Blackpool at White Hart Lane a week later and scored a hat-trick, including a flying scissor kick, during the 5-2 win.
