The red Liverpool No.8 jersey worn by Roger Hunt in the 1965 F.A. Cup Final, long-sleeved, the badge inscribed L.F.C., WEMBLEY, 1965 Liverpool beat Leeds United 2-1 in extra time in the 1965 F.A. Cup Final. Following 90 minutes when both team struggles to carve out a goalscoring opportunity, the deadlock was finally broken in the 3rd minute of extra time when Gerry Byrne, who had bravely played on nursing a broken collarbone (no substitutes), crossed for Roger Hunt to head in the opener. Stalmate prevailed again 7 minutes later when Billy Bremner scored for Leeds. Liverpool's victory came in the 117th minute when Ian St John headed in an Ian Callaghan cross.
