A memorable match for Hunt who scored four goals in the 10-0 demolition of the USA at Randall's Island, New York, 27th May 1964. The Liverpool man completed the hat-trick within 53 minutes and scored a 4th in the 64th. Merseyside was responsible for seven of the England goals, with Everton's Fred Pickering scoring a hat-trick on debut.
